About Our App
Our App Limited is a UK company that makes town apps: one app for a whole town, under the town’s own name, bought by its Business Improvement District (BID) or council, with an app inside it for every local business.
What we supply
A town’s own app, published in the App Store and Google Play under the town’s name and colours. It brings what’s on, the high street, neighbours’ posts and groups, and local news into one place, and gives every local business its own app inside it. We shape each app around the BID that runs it: its neighbourhoods, its groups and the features that matter to the town. We do everything we can to make it feel local, down to a background drawn from the town’s own landmarks. Our Bristol is our working example town.
Built on a platform that already works
Our App has built and run branded apps for years, for venues, events and organisations, with many smaller apps inside one. The town app is a new front end and a new town backend on top of that platform, which already handles:
- Food and shop ordering
- Booking
- Event tickets and RSVPs
- Memberships
- Galleries
- Contact forms
What else do we make?
Community apps: a business’s own app inside one of our shared apps, such as Our Pub, Our Hotel, Taste or Our Wedding. And corporate apps: a company’s, club’s or organisation’s own branded app, with as many apps inside it as it needs. Andclub apps, for shoots and cricket clubs.
